Experience first-hand one of world’s most spectacular mountain ranges
An unforgettable journey through the nature, history and culture of the breath-taking Dolomites landscapes, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009.
As you travel towards northbound towards South Tyrol, you’ll pass through charming towns and picturesque countryside. The scenery will gradually change as you approach the mountains, with the rolling hills giving way to towering peaks and deep valleys.
Once you arrive in the Dolomites, you’ll be awe-struck by the majestic beauty of the landscape. The mountains rise up dramatically from the valley, their peaks shrouded in clouds and their slopes covered in lush forests and meadows.
Your coach will take you through areas of the Dolomites with stunning panoramic viewpoints and charming mountain towns. Having first crossed the Fiemme Valley into Canazei and Moena, we will stop at the Pordoi Pass at 2.240m above sea level with free time for an optional traditional lunch. Or, you will have the opportunity to take the optional Belvedere cable car and ascend to 2.950m above sea level, up to the “Terrace of the Dolomites,” from where to take in the fresh air and admire a spectacular panorama with the most famous Dolomites peaks: the Marmolada, Sella and Catinaccio.
You’ll return to your starting point by dinnertime, impressed by the stunning exceptional beauty of the Dolomites. On-route there will be a stop in the typical alpine village of Ortisei in Val Gardena, a highly acclaimed ski destination and a cyclist’s, hiker’s, mountain climber’s paradise in the summer.
Whether you’re a nature lover, an outdoor enthusiast, or simply looking for a peaceful escape, a day out to the Dolomites is a worthwhile experience.
Should you need to cancel your confirmed excursion bookings, the following will apply:
In addition:
We regret that animals are not allowed on the coach.
We recommend wearing comfortable footwear and clothes that would be suitable for outdoor activities.
This depends on where you are being picked up from and at what time you are due to return from the excursion, as well as at what time does dinner service end at the hotel/restaurant/etc.
Please refer to the Excursion pickup locations and departure times (bearing in mind that the Return times are estimated). If you believe that you may be late for dinner, it is best to order a packed lunch or a cold evening meal instead from the hotel/restaurant/etc where you are staying.
